• Employment Type: Local ContractOur client is seeking a Telemetry RN for a fast-paced role at a Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with patients in critical condition who require continuous monitoring and care.

  • Day Shift.
    
  • 7:00AM - 7:30PM.
    
  • Performs comprehensive assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
    
    
  • Identifies and addresses nursing and discharge needs; evaluates and adjusts care plans as needed.
    
    
  • Accurately transcribes and carries out physician orders; administers medications following the 5 "rights".
    
    
  • Initiates and manages IV therapy; prioritizes and manages time effectively.
    
    
  • Coordinates patient care across departments (e.g., lab, radiology) and with Case Managers to support efficient discharge and continuity of care.

    Job Requirements
    
    • 2 years or more experience, in an acute care setting preferred.
      
    • Graduate of an accredited program in nursing. -
      
    • Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.
      
    • Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred.
