Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Responsible for any routine maintenance or operational task assigned. General house-keeping of all maintenance areas including refrigeration system. Routine inspections of all equipment including but not limited to: Building, Handling and Refrigeration equipment. Take readings of compressors, evaporators, and receivers.Limited use of computer control system for refrigeration equipment.The Job Specifics: Location, Department Reports To: Assistant Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer Travel Amount: May Vary Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-TimeWhat We Are Looking For:Education High School Degree preferredExperience Previous warehouse maintenance preferred but not required. Working knowledge of electrical (PLC's relay logic and motor controls), hydraulics, mechanics and excellent troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of hydraulics and plumbing. Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints preferred but not required.Other Abilities You Will Need to Have: The physical demands described below are representative of those required of an individual performing the essential duties of this position.
